Flowers
 We (Anneliese and Jorge Gomez) have been in the flower business for over 20 years .We had a very successful floral decorating business in Sydney's Bellevue Hill for 10 years before selling and moving to Mexico for 2 years and finally settling in Brisbane. Hacienda has been open now for over 5 years and business is blooming!
When it comes to flowers - you can get just about everything in Brisbane but bear in mind that sticking to flowers that are in season is the best way to go. October is great if you love the old fashioned David Austin Roses, Lilac is in for a short couple of weeks as is Lily Of The Valley and Hippiastum Lillies. Fragrant Fresias are also in full swing. Paleanopopsis (or Moth Orchids) are also available Spring and Summer as are Oriental Lillies. Come November the beautiful Peony Rose is in abundance, but only for a very short 4-6 weeks depending on the weather.
